It is imperative to sensitize kids from a very early age about the need to ‘go green’ and save the environment. Involving them in awareness programs that can be made fun with drawing, coloring and painting pictures of vegetation and wildlife and making posters with catchy slogans to preserve the earth and its natural resources, will help children grow up with a deep regard for Nature and humankind’s responsibility to preserve it. Schools have a great role in inculcating a sense of concern among children for the depleting natural resources in the world.
