The Rules!
While crossing any road, I make sure that I adhere to the rule-stop, look and listen. Stopping at the side of the road, I first assess the traffic. Then I look to see if any vehicle is coming. Third, I listen for any horns. I cross the road only after it is clear that it is safe to do so.
